Sam Moinet is an experienced educator, coach and wellbeing facilitator dedicated to helping young people build confidence, overcome self-doubt and create a positive direction for their future.
Sam began his journey in education as a qualified teacher, completing his PGCE, where he quickly realised that many students were capable of far more than they believed. He saw bright, talented young people held back by anxiety, low confidence, fear of failure and uncertainty about who they were becoming.
Rather than accepting this as part of the system, Sam became passionate about finding better ways to support young people to thrive — not just academically, but emotionally and personally.
Over the past decade, Sam has trained in a range of coaching and wellbeing approaches and has worked with hundreds of students aged 11–18 in international schools across Europe and beyond. His work focuses on helping young people better understand themselves, develop resilience and feel more confident navigating the challenges of school and life.
Sam has delivered student coaching programmes, workshops and leadership trainings with leading schools including the British School of Lisbon, Kings College Schooo, Dubai English Speaking School and others, supporting students to develop essential life skills such as communication, emotional awareness, motivation and leadership.
Sam’s approach
Sam creates a safe, encouraging space where young people feel comfortable to talk openly, reflect honestly and explore what really matters to them.
His coaching style is practical, supportive and empowering. Sessions help students:
• build confidence and self-belief
• manage stress and anxiety
• develop motivation and focus
• improve communication skills
• make positive decisions about their future
• understand their strengths
• develop resilience and emotional wellbeing
Sam integrates coaching tools with mindfulness, reflection exercises and practical strategies that young people can apply immediately in their daily lives.
His aim is not to tell students what to do, but to help them discover their own answers, build trust in themselves and take ownership of their choices.
